The Political Cartel Foundation and this site are staffed by volunteers. The staff is comprised of graduate students and other professionals. Each staff member brings unique talents and interests to the Foundation and to the site.
Senior Staff
David Manes, Senior Editor
David is a law student at the University of Pittsburgh, a graduate of Harding University, and a co-founder of Political Cartel. He oversees all content on the site and also serves as the president of the Political Cartel Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors. David is the Senior Editor for philosophy and legal issues. His interests include the intersection of legal and philosophical issues. David also maintains Free Thoughts, a personal blog.
Steve Denney, Senior Editor
Steve is graduate student at Yonsei University’s Graduate School of International Studies in South Korea, a graduate of Harding University, and a co-founder of Political Cartel. He assists in overseeing all content of the blog and serves as a board member of the Political Cartel Foundation. Steve is the Senior Editor for philosophy and international relations. Steve writes on a variety of issues, but his primary interests are in international relations and political theory. Steve also maintains The Woods, a personal blog, and is the Editor in Chief for PEAR, the Yonsei University Journal of International Studies.
Michael Kraemer, Senior Editor
Mike is a University of Pittsburgh Law School student with an eye for politics. He has a unique blend of libertarian roots and a progressive mindset. Within his wide range of expertise, Mike writes on legal issues, including modern civil rights questions. He is the Senior Editor for legal issues and politics.
